DOCUMENTS This section includes transcripts of a few of the more interesting documents that have come to my attention during this study. They give a fascinating glimpse into the past. A brief description precedes each document, explaining its contents. The transcripts included use the original spelling, capitalization, and sentence structure. However, most early deeds and wills are written in one continuous paragraph and in their original form are very difficult to follow. In some cases I have broken them into separate paragraphs to make the document easier to read and understand. Otherwise the transcripts conform to the originals. |
